Whether you are a novice or experienced gardener, we have something of interest for you. MVGC, organized in 1979, is a part of the Garden Clubs of Ohio and the National Garden Club. Our membership is open to anyone in the Dublin area interested in learning more about gardening and plants, advancing civic beautification and encouraging additions to the landscape that assure a bounty of nature in our backyards.
Perhaps you remember the courtyard garden at the old Dublin Metropolitan Library. We installed and maintained it for many years. In 2015, with the assistance of the City of Dublin, we created (and currently maintain) the Blue Star Marker at the Dublin Cemetery. Blue Star Memorial Markers honor all men and women who served or are serving in the Armed Forces. The Garden Club members decorated the Coffman Homestead when it was the site of Dublin's Christmas Tree Lighting. We won First Place from our national organization for our work! The Club contributes to several non-profits including One Dublin, Dublin Food Pantry, and Reaching for the Shining Starz. Dues $30/year.
The Muirfield Village Garden Club meets the second Monday of the month, March through December.
